The (Under) Standings

A league table of things you should know about yourself.

12. Where do you want to live? - About the only ‘where’ you really need to think about. I suggest Barcelona.

11. What are you like when you’re drunk? - Harder to find out than you think but well worth evaluating. Perhaps the more pertinent question is whether you can accept what the drunk version of you does.

10. What do you truly detest? - Hopefully not too much to think about but even the best days can be ravaged by a single moment of repudiation.

9. What is likely to kill you? - Morbid yes. Valuable…yes.

8. When do you want responsibility? - Less of a date and more of a mindset. In reality responsibility will find you whether you are ready or not (probably not) but planning it can soften the blow of maturity’s anvil.

7. What do you like in bed? - Don’t be shy. You never know until you ask.

6. How far is your limit? - What will you do to get what you want and what will you accept to maintain your principles? Ask yourself the questions but be prepared not to like the answers.

5. What are you passionate about? - Figure out what you like. Not what you think you should like but what really makes you tick. Find a way to incorporate it into your life. Easy.

4. What do you like about yourself? Confidence is an attractive trait. Fuel it.

3. If you died today, what would you miss most? - You don’t want to be the richest dead guy in the world so it aint money. Family? Friends? Fun? I’m just asking the questions…

2. Who are your friends? - Not a lot more important than this. Find the ones that matter and keep them around. Yes, even when they aren't your bestest buddies.

1. What’s your destiny?/Why are you here? - These questions tend to lead to a tributary of other questions themselves. What a bonus.
